The little horses and other lullabies
This is a unique selection of the best pieces in this music genre which attempts to comprise all periods. The CD includes an extremely varied sample of pieces written by the most important composers who have provided the music for wonderful poems by outstanding writers in five different languages. Together with works from the classical international repertoire, the CD includes others that have never been published before. Thus, the "Wiegenlied" (a beautiful lullaby written by German poet Ilse Weber for the children of the Theresienstadt concentration camp) or Joseph Soler’s “Canción cuna": a piano composition specifically composed for the Open Music Foundation.
